I recently went "shopping" for clothes.  For me, anything other than shopping for a new computer, PDA, or sports attire is not really shopping. 

 

On this day, I found myself looking for pajamas.  I had reached the limit on comments regarding my Homer Simpson slumber pants....and how little Homer was left.  My first stop was Kohl's, the store where everything is on sale.  Found a couple nice pair of pants to replace mine...one had the AC/DC insignia all over them (didn't know AC/DC were still popular) and the other had little yellow ducks on them.  Neither flipped that magical "get them" switch...mostly because they were still more than I wanted to pay.  I will only buy clothes if they are so outrageously marked down that I can talk about "my great deal" for at least two weeks. (Last month I bought a new shirt - bowling type shirt - regular $75.00, my price $9.00.  My wife is still hearing about it.)

 

Upon leaving Kohl's empty handed, I figured I had earned a little "Bill" time, so I stopped off at Best Buy...my nirvana.  I proceeded to roll around in a batch of new laptops for about 20 minutes.  After getting my technology fix, I decided to make a drive over to the local tractor/farmer store.  This is the type of store where you can by new tires, bib overalls, and rabbit feed at the same time.   After making my way through multiple aisles of Carhartts, I find gold.  A bin of pajamas....regularly $20.00....now $3.00.  Bingo.  And these aren't your ordinary pj's....they are bright red union suits.... exactly like the one this guy is modeling:

 

 

WHAT A STEAL...$3.00!!!  As a sign it was meant to be, they had my size.  These things go for up to $30.00 on line!!!Can you believe it?  I had to ask a person working there if these were mistakenly tagged.  They chuckled and said something about having a lot more in the back.  Needless to say, I grabbed a pair and sprinted to the registers.

 

When I got home and proudly displayed my great buy to my wife, her reaction was a little less enthusiastic than I had hoped.  However, I am confident they will grow on her. Especially after hearing about the great deal I got....a few more times.
