WHW Facts Part II
So, for those inquiring minds....and for the ones who said the last list made them laugh.....
- My first car was a station wagon my dad bought from a local funeral home. It had been used to transport flowers to the cemetary....and still had shades in the back windows. Not a chick-mobile.
- In high school biology, I ate a slice of earthworm pie for extra credit. Tasted a lot like mincemeat.
- One of the groomsmen in my wedding was a great-great cousin of Alfalfa Switzer (THE Alfalfa from Our Gang)
- I once choked on a chili dog and passed a chili bean out my nose. I smelled chili for 3 days.
- I have virtually no skill in repairing a car.
- I have read (and enjoyed) every Sherlock Holmes story written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
- I once struck out in a slow-pitch softball game
- During my bachelor years, I was best known at parties for a unique impersonation I could do....of a dog throwing up.
- I have never had Scarlet Fever.
- I used to love watching Captain Kangaroo, Mr. Green Jeans.....
- Growing up, I thought a neighbor had the coolest "set of wheels"....a van with the phrase "The Good Times Van" painted on its side.
- I once got sick from eating too many Certs (with Retsin).
- I once saw Andre the Giant at a WWF event.
- I have awful looking feet.
- I am a terrible swimmer
- I have never mowed a yard without some sort of shirt on
- I have only been told by one woman that I smelled good....and I married her.
- I have never been held up
- I always wanted a pair of camo shorts. Last year I bought a pair at Walmart
- I like hot chocolate more than beer
- I had the same roommate all 4 years of college....He was my friend growing up.....and was my best man. He is still one of my best friends....and he always will be.
- I hate having my picture taken.
- I love camping
- I hate wearing socks
- I am often called a "loose cannon" at work. I'm not sure how to take it.
- I measure success in terms of family, friends, and good deeds.
I can now rest knowing I have fulfilled my 101 fact obligation.....
